Tintern Abbey is William Wordsworth reminiscing on his childhood, and what he has since learned. He says that he has learned to not look on nature "as in the hour of thoughtless youth," but that it is something that brings all humanity together. Something they have in common. It causes him to hear the "still, sad music of humanity." Humans have control over nature, and when he is looking out into the "green earth" he realizes what beauty that all humans have in their possession.
